Valve question

Could anyone tell me the std valve sizes on my '79 350 L48 engine, the one out of the corvette,.

The head casting numbers are 462624. I know there is a website that tells you that sort of info but a cannot find it.

Many thanks. Craig

Should be 1.94/1.50" valves, but could be 1.72/1.50". You really don't want to use those heads unless there are no alternatives. They hage large chambers with a relatively poor design, they are heavy castings that can be dangerously thin in some areas due to core shift, and have poor ports. Other than that, they'll last forever.
