Running Rich

89 4.3l TBI

Just had the motor rebuilt(bored 060 over). The motor is now running really rich. Rich enough that the plugs are wet and a dark brown in color(repalced plugs and wires same). Replaced the injectors recently no help. Base timing properly set to 0*. Have not checked the fuel pressure yet(renting a tool today). Vacuum check shows 21-20 in. bounces to indicate rich running engine. Once warm idles horrible but drives ok. Did a run on winaldl and it verifies rich. Anyone willing to take a look at the data and offer any advice would be appreciated. Already learned alot from searching on this forum. Once this engine is running better plan on some DIY prom work.

Also I have not yet set the minimum idle air. Should I replace anything before doing that? If I give the engine a vacuum leak it will lean out nicely(obviously).

What does the coolant temp and TPS read on your scanner?
Also you might have a bad O2

Collant temp gets up to 90.2 *c ~ 194*F

TPS @ idle around 1.2- 1.7 % open.

I think I am going to go ahead and change O2 sensor today.

Thanks,
