Considering buying this 91..
Can you guys see anything out of the ordinary with the pictures below? I am considering buying this car, thanks in advance!
AC components missing? Should'nt there be a plastic filler panel between the radiator and the nose?

That's what I was thinking myself, the owner says the engine has 50K on it.
The seal in the hatch, does it normally rust the lip that it sits on? My previous camaro barely had a lip remaining at 180K (but that's a Canadian winter car), just wondering if that kind of rust is normal for 50K mileage on a California car...

The car is pretty rough around the edges (dents, dings, paint oxidation, valence scuffs, etc.) and would definately benefit from some paint and general TLC.
My concern about the filler panel is I don't understand why someone would have removed it unless the car was hit and there was some work done. The seller has told me he is'nt positive the car was never in an accident but for sure neither he or the second owner were.
It also has some orange paint peeking out between the front clip and fender, on both sides. Could that be a sign the car had some work done on the front or is that original factory paint or something else?
The hood also did not line up 100% so I pointed it out and suggested he adjust the rubber stoppers, it's better now but still slightly off.
Are these all common problems?

Engine: B5254S Engine
Transmission: Automatic
Axle/Gears: It's a volvo?
Kind of tough to tell. From what I have seen, the engine compartment looks dusty, I am sure if you got a duster or something you would get the engine to look alot nicer.
I would try to look elsewhere, the fact that the car has 50k miles on it and its starting to rest doesn't really make me feel easy about the car. I have 113k almost on my car, and there is no rust on my frame anywhere as far as I can tell.
As for the hood aligning, my hood on the left side facing it crimps down a little bit more than the right side does. It could be two things.
my hood shocks do not work on the car. The right side still has pump to it but the left one is completely dead, so my only conclusion is that since the left one is so dead the hood sits a little lower than the right does. Another explanation is the rubber stoppers but they appear to be in good shape.
Your pictures indicate that the hood shocks are working so I would rule those out....It's not really a big issue, it just makes it a pain sometimes to get the hood popped open on the first try.
But then again my cable is also not functioning properly. Now that I think about it, alot of things aren't functioning in my car....
How much is it? Aside from the exterior how is the body overall...interior?
How does it drive?

The guy is hoping for $5000, seems alot for it's condition.
I have not had a chance to drive it and likely will not before buying it since the car is far away. I was aiming toward getting a third party inspection done before paying, the car is in California.
I've got nearly a hundred pictures of the car at the link below.

Not for that price. It looks to be a stock L03 so if your looking to go fast....keep looking.

For those reasons alone I can overlook the fact it is an L03, I had plans to do engine and transmission swaps in the future anyhow.
