torque specs

i got a 2 bolt 350 out of a TBI van and need to know what to torque the main bolts, rod bolts, and head bolts.

Yup. But as my engine builder did. It was 70lbs for the ARP main studs, 60lbs for the ARP rod bolts (with streach method) and 65lbs with ARP head bolts.

YOu arent reusing them, are you? If so, dont. Its definately not the place to save money when building an engine.

no my uncle has stock bolts never been used. he bought em and never used them his motor. i might go for ARP though...

Milton is in fact the man.

I would recommend against using the stock bolts. For the money involved, its about the best insurance that you can get.
