I have gone through a few clusters and am not sure if the cluster i have is origanal. I have a 1988, with a manual transmission and the 2.8 engine. What is the redline and the highest mpg read on the original cluster? Now sure what was original... Thanks!!!

the original 88 cluster shouldnt tell you the highest mpg...(maybe berlinetta?) The tach goes up to 7000 but the redline is 6k

2 big gauges, tach on the right speedo on left, tach has lil oil pressure gauge on the lower right of it, then 3 small gauges for batt, gas and temp in the middle of the 2 big ones.

Kinda sounds like you got an older third gen cluster, my friend's 82 has one that sounds like that.
