hey every one ,

i have a few questions about spark plugs .
1. i am working on a 350 in a 84 camaro for a friend an theres a cly thats burning oil an i would like to change the plug to a hotter pulg .

2. higher the # hotter the plug ?

3. higher compression an bigger cam do u need a colder plug ?

4.when do u need to change plugs colder/hotter when doing mods?

5.an if u have efi do u still need to change plugs due to mods or will the efi compensate for this ?

hot plug for a cold (tame) engine, cold plug for a hot (high perf) engine.

Has the engine been modified? Has the CR changed from stock?

You need to read the plugs. If increased compression creates detonation then you will need a colder plug. EFI cars need colder plugs if the mod creates detonation.
