What cam is it??

I have a 14093627 block, with 14101081 heads, what cam did this come with from GM??? Thanks!

Axle/Gears: 2.73 posi, 3.06 posi

Its a 305 block with 305 TPI heads on it. What cam is anyone's guess though, really. Who's to say it hasn't been changed? Or the heads haven't been changed?

I understand that it could have been changed. I'm asking what it came with, not what it might possibly have. It was a carb'ed engine.

IIRC, only the F-bodies got those heads, because they only came on the 5.0 TPI, and only the F-bodies got that motor. But the 5.0 TPI came with two (or more) different cams, depending on the year and transmission it was originally mated to.

Transmission: 4L60

Axle/Gears: 14 bolt with 3.07 gears

Trucks and Vans got 081s as well. Cadillac TBI 305s did too. The 1987-1988 Monte Carlos came with either 081s or 187s.
