Anybody with a 350 V8 camaro whats ur gas mileage with regular gas not premium or anything. If you reply tell what year and TPI or TBI. If anyone has added or modified anything, and noticed better gas mileage post that too. NOT A POST FOR CARBURATED ENGINES

 

my car isn't a camaro but a monte carlo, same weight as a camaro, but like driving a brick going down the road.
my motor is a dead stock 5.7 TPI from a 92 camaro. i get 16~18 in town depending on how i drive, best on the highway so far was just over 25 MPG running 70+ with the A/C on.

 

the GTA i was looking to buy was a 88 with the L98 motor and it was getting 15-18 in city pending on driving, and on high way was a easy 26 mpg
running no a/c but windows were down...

25 in the city or high way or a little of both

 

im sure thats on the highway, its unreal for a V8 for any year up to 98 to get 25 specially with a Fbody... thats gotta be one hell of a set up if its in the city.. i could be wrong

 

Thats what i was thinking. My dads 4 cylinder 2 wheel drive ranger gets that.

 

17-20 mpg with a combination of highway/city driving and sticking my foot into it every chance I get.
Should be a little better when I reactivate highway fuel and spark modes.

 

I wanted to find out my gas mileage last week so I took a 45min trip to Summit. got 27-29mpg, mostly highway. 305-TPI and 2.73's

 

both b/c I drive on the interstate to school but around town to work.
