so my tranny is blown, i called 2 transmission shops on it so far and the first one said it would be 1075.00 to fix, and i will have a 90 day waranty. the second shop quoted me 1422.00 to fix with a 2 yr warranty.... a little bit bogus because i didnt even pay a 1000 for the car, and it has 165k on the clock, so what should i do, should i get a different third gen and sell this one, or should i fix this one??

 

Dang dude, just go the the JY and find one for $100, or fix it?

 

i wuld be all up for fixing it, but u see, im only 15 yrs old, and dont pull 1400 dollars outta my back pocket everyday lol, and the junkyards around here are still asking 500 for 700r4 trannies
