Axle/Gears: monsterous 2.73s in both
Die and Tap - Metric or Standard?

I'm looking to buy a die and tap set from summit. Theres a metric set and SAE (standard) set. Which do I want?

Standard will be alot more useful for everyday use.

I disagree, metric is much more common these days. If you choose one I would say metric, but ideally you should get both.

If you're using your taps to clean threads, The engine uses mostly SAE fasteners. Nearly everything else on the car is metric.

If you're using them to cut new threads in parts you're fabricating, it probably doesn't matter that much which you use, as long as you can get fasteners to match.

Im getting this for a just-in-case when I do header install, so I'll start off with SAE.
