84 camaro z-28
305 and 350
A stock '84 Z28 would have only had a 305, either 4 bbl LG4, 4bbl L69 (no crossfire anymore right?)
0 or 6* BTDC IIRC. But I think that's a meaningless stat, use what helps the motor run best now.

haha, yea. the 350 was never an option.
Just the duke, V6, lg4 (305) and l69 (305ho).
If its a true Z28 it could have only been the LG4 or L69 engine.
Check the sticker on the rad support with all the tuneup info
Specs are usually meaningless, just somewhere to start at. like sonix said set it wherever it runs best!

Its the z-28 H.O......... so yeah its the 305 but now i got a 350 out of a 77 350 chevy truck

ok, so you're setting the timing on the 305 or 350? Either way, try 10* base timing, with ported vacuum on the distributor for now. It should run ok.
Then go get yourself an MSD 96001, and re-curve your timing to suit your needs.
