Sparkplugs 1,4,6,and 7

What all can cause 4 plugs to foul from running rich? I already change all plugs and wires thinking the coolant in the front valley and oil in the rear valley was causing but it still running rich with surging at idle, part throttle, and accelerating. I need help asap I didn't even get a chance to install my new C5 brakes for the front and my money is funny at the present moment.

That's wierd, if you look at your firing order, 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 every other cyl. in the order is the one that's fouling. That ought to be a clue. With comp. controled emissions systems these days one thing can go wrong and it's like a domino effect. I've had 1 bad plug cause all the plugs on one head to foul out but I don't think thats your problem being that it's every other cyl. Might be related to the spark control module. A weak spark could cause you problem with surging and eventually foul the plugs. Did you check the inside of the dist. cap and make sure there's no carbon tracking or cracks?

I forgot to mention the dist cap and rotor was changed first while the ignition could be next option to checked at a local parts store. Thanks for any help that you could offer me I'm not a mechanic only a computer geek.

Sounds to me like you've got one leaky injector.

Look at your intake runners and see which injector feeds those 4. I think you'll find it's the pass side one.
