IS THIS A GOOD MOTOR????!!!!
i want to build up a motor to put out between 400-500hp. found a block not far from my house for $75. its a mid 70's 350 2blt main and a 2 pieace rear main seal.just wanted to see ur input on it.

that would be your basic run of the mill vanilla block. Nothing special, good or bad about it.
You can build it up to 500HP, it's all about what you put in it.

depends what condition the block is in.
It could be a junk block thats been cracked or it could be perfect and just need to be align honed and cleaned up!
