Streetable Combos
So I have an 89 GTA with only an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, Transgo Shift Kit, Spohn SFC, and Flowmaster Muffler. I have been wanting to get a Miniram, but this will be an everyday car, and I don't want to have to mess with my chip what-so-ever.
I came up with a basic idea of what I want. My question of course is, Does this combo sound like a good start? and is my car capable of these parts without an upgraded PROM or chip? Here are the parts with Summit Part #:
-Competition Cams Xtreme Energy Cam, Hydraulic Roller Tappet, Advertised Duration 276/ 281, Lift .503/ .510, 112LSA CCA-08-503-8
-Competition Cams High Energy Hydraulic Lifters, Hydraulic Flat Tappet CCA-812-16
-Competition Cams Hi-Tech Roller Race Timing Sets, Timing Chain, Hi-Tech Roller Race, Double Roller, Steel Sprockets CCA-3100
-SLP Performance Parts High Flow TPI Intake Runners SLE-20004
I was also looking at a Torque Convertor, but I don't think I really need it. I will be getting headers and heads later this summer as well. Any opinions of these parts would be appreciated

Chip Work
Hi,
With out the MiniRam and headers your already at the
point where you would need chip work.( For the motor
to perform optimally).
Why not just wait till you get the Mini and headers and
then chip work. With the MiniRam your moving your
power band upstairs and to take advantage of it, heads
or headwork are needed. Along with a few other changes.

Sounds good to me
I'm starting to hate cars with chips
But yout right about the miniram. I've been wanting the miniram for so long, and now I have the money for it. And since everything I do to the car will need a chip I guess I should go with the miniram. Thanks for your advice
