Lunati voodoo cam + 416 heads

I was looking at the lunati voodoo series cams on summit this afternoon. Obviously I would have to change the valve springs to accomidate the lift #'s. My question is, would the stock pressed in studs be adiquete or will I need to thread it and install some screw in studs? Below are the cam specs, would also appreciate any input. Bare in mind its just for an 86 tpi'd 305, heads are stock... beleive they are the 416 casting, not positive tho.

Duration at 050 inch Lift: 213 int./219 exh.
advertised Duration: 256 int./262 exh.
Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.454 int./0.468 exh. lift

Should be OK, if you use the right springs. The built-in TPI rev limiter will probably protect the pull-out studs from excessive stress.

I agree with sofakindom, should be fine with the right springs, I recently just installed a Xtreme energy comp cam (XE256H) which is very comparable to that Lunati, youll be pretty happy with it, pulls strong from 2500 to 5000

I also have 416's and a lunati voodoo, albeit a larger version.
The studs pull out due to high RPM, and most importantly, high spring force. Those two kinda go hand in hand either way....
I think you should pin your studs, if you don't want to tap for thread in studs. This is easy (ok, not EASY, but not super hard), and very cheap, ~$10.

I thought your TPI motor would have 081 castings, not sure though.

Is that cam going to work with your TPI? I mean duration is pretty small, but LSA? Make sure you look into that.
