few problem having hard time to identify

car is 91RS, 3.1L MPFI.
188k miles.

I have new brake pads, all 4 around(my rear is stock drum)

1. when i step on brake, sometime I hear a clunk from my left front engine.
*My motor mount is brand new, so is my trans mount, and so are my shocks*
I think my swaybar endlink is attached too.. I'll double check on that.
could this be warped rotor or something? i only hear it ONLY when i apply on the brake.

2. I have a brand new A/C compressor, converted to 13.4R.
this was done maybe a month ago.. it used to work just fine.
now my AC air from the vent is not as cold as before all of sudden.(kinda warm)

plus I hear like a constant clicking noise when I turn the AC on.. what the hell? seems like the clicking noise is coming from the compressor side(opposite side of where all the blower are)

is this like bad ac condensor or something?

Im gonna try to change blower motor tomorrow.. any tip on that is appreciated too, thanks in advance!!

whoa, i'm hoping those problems are not interconnected...

I'd check the caliper mounting bolts, make sure they're in, and correct and all that. you lubed those bolts?

shocks recently replaced, you tightened up those bolts hard enough? what about the upper shock mounts? Check the bolts for those, maybe take off hard, and slow down extremely gently, mark your upper shock mount location, then take it up to speed, and brake hard, such that you get the clunk, and make sure the mounts haven't moved, in reference to the marks in the engine bay.

possibly ball joints? (that's a shot in the dark though...)

doubt it's warped rotors, that shouldn't clunk. sticking, or otherwise bad calipers also shouldn't do that.

2) leak in the system? you could have it pressure tested I think.
3) clicking on the AC, I know this one.... I forget right now, but *someone* should know...It's pretty common...

hey thanks for insight.

i checked my swaybar endlink(caz often bolts rusts off and it
contacts and frame or something and make noise)
and it was still in good condition.

balljoints are both new as well.. but ONE THING
I did ACCIDENTALY was that I removed the upper strut mount's bolt,
and it kinda moved to the other side and I couldnt put back to where it was.. so I just tightned the bolts back in.

but looking at the other side, the mount looks like its in similar position comparing to before(both mounts is mounted toward engine).
so i thought that'd be no prob.. but that could be it then..

for A/C I think i found the leak, thanks man

oh yea, it's probably in the same position, but when you move the car, it'll move, then stop the car and it might settle back.
I forget off the top of my head, but I think that takes 1 bolt to constrain the mount in x, one bolt for y, and one bolt....I forget, but anyway, 1 bolt (oh yea, nut I guess), will do it.

Jack up the car by the k-member, and let the front wheels hang, then you'll be able to move that around and get the nut on....
