Backfires Crazy when Removed Pass Valve Cover!?
I wanted to see how much oil was getting to my heads through the pushrods so I pulled the passenger side valve cover (with two breathers...the drivers side has none). As soon as I started the motor it started to backfire a ton. At idle it was backfiring every couple of seconds but it didn't do this 5 minutes ago when then valve cover was on.
WTF?
I'm also not getting any oil up there at idle. When revving it a little oil spits out of the rockers but at idle I saw nothing. Is this bad?
