O.k. I bought the car with an engine miss hoping that I could fix. At the time the car was backfiring through the intake. The car seems as if its running on 5-7 cylinders.. I've been told it could be anything.

Here's what I replaced: plugs, wires, cap, rotor,coil, ignition part that is under the distributor, o2 sensor, temperature cooling sensor.. I did a compression test,fuel pressure test, timing light test and checked out o.k.

The exhaust smells real rich and i'm getting crappy gas mileage..

The car only has 85,000 miles,I'm way down on h.p. Could it be an injector issue? Please any advice will help... Thanks

its running rich so it must be a fuel problem...but wouldnt a pressure test tell you if an injector is stuck open?

i hope someone else can be more helpful, i would like to know what the problem is too

 

I'm leaning to an injector problem. I will check the iac tommorow, as well as the tps. If those are fine it should be an injector issue...I hope!!
