Stupid Injectors

So I brought my car down the shop 2day cause the service engine light came up..and I test out all my injectors and get this the 4 on the passenger side are good, 1 on the drivers side is good, but 3 are also junk on the drivers side. The car has a rough idle and is skipping Is this job a pain in the ***?

If it has stock runners on it with a little work, all you have to do is pull the plenum and lift the injectors out from the rail.

SLP runners, at least one runner will have to come off to do the same thing.

Its fairly easy, do a few searches and work slowly and surely.

DO NOT PINCH THE O RINGS

Ive never had a problem with this car yet and the other day i find out i need a new mass air flow unit, new distribuator cap and plugs, new injectors. I really hope the bad injectors didnt mess up the computer...

I would keep the stock # size that you are setup for, if its a stock chip then stick with the 21# injectors, best I keep hearing are the Ford SVO injectors, I'm gonna try out a set for my miniram.

All the stuff you listed can be done yourself, which would save you a lot of money. Email Cruzinperformance.com and see what he thinks. You might not need new injectors.

very easy, not the most basic, but its at the beginner level...

take the top plenum out... pull the 4 fuel rail bolts, pull the injectors and rail out, remove bad injects, replace... reverse directions...
