as some may know i just dropped a 383 in my 89 rs the 383 has dart heads and edlbrock performer rpm intake with a holley 750 carb on it. i was havign problems with it running too rich but i think i got that figured out now. but now it was to kind of misfire or pop sort of thing. im kinda of leaning towards maybe a valave is too tight and is partially getting stuck open causing fuel to then fire in the exhaust. . is this possible or else what could it be
