cursed valvetrain...

This engine only has 6K on it...

on #8 intake and exhaust rockers and intake rocker on #6 the nuts keep backing off... i know i could put nylocks on there but i'm just curious if this is a common problem with MrGasket screw in studs or not... the rockers are Comp Magnum 1.52's cam is right around 500 lift...

Thanks

I don't think nylon will hold up to the heat. Have you tried new stock rocker nuts?

Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Add a jam nut to them. Just a regular hardware-store or parts-store nut works fine.

i've just got the ones that came with the rockers for now... so adding a 2nd nut to lock it in is ok?

I allready tried loctite and they backed off in just a couple minutes... I also tried some other automotive glue stuff i had, i haven't driven it enough to test tho...
