There was a big discussion on this of another forum I frequent. General consensis was that this could work, but I don't know of anyone who has done any independant testing.

yea, this was brought up once before.
Also it definately leads to increased chance of cracking.

I have read about them before . They are calle danti reversion grooves. Used on single plane intakes , and with big overlap cams. It's been around for along time...before that guy did it anyhow.
