Looking to replace everything with braided hoses.. need help

I want to start makeing everything under the hood look nice and replace all the factory chinsey hoses with steel braided hoses and those nice looking screw on ends for both looks and preformance, only problem is i dont know what sizes to get for everything.
I want to replace everything, rad hoses, power stearing / brake lines, everything... does anyone know the sizes i will need and how exactly they connect up to everything with those special looking screw on ends (the red / blue / etc ends)
Any info would be great thanks guys!

I want to know myself...

Your heater core hoses are 3/4" hose. The connection to the heater core is a firewall mounted hose barb, so i'm not sure how you'd replace that with a threaded fitting. The connection on the intake and waterpump would be easy though, it's a NPT -hose barb now, I think 1/2"NPT or something, so you'd want a 1/2"NPT to 12AN or so conversion fitting.

Brake lines, i'm not sure if you've got the.. 6mm metric bubble fare setup, or if you've still got the imperial 3/16" 45* inverted flare stuff. I'd leave the brake hard lines under the hood, alone. Maybe put in SS if you felt you had too much $ to burn.

Heck, go to holley.com and click on the link to earls plumbing. Dig through their parts, maybe request a catalogue, and stuff. But post your findings, i'm not crystal clear how some of those go together.

On my car, one heater hose is 3/4", one is 5/8" (and the tubes on the heater core agree with me ). The outlet line, to the carb, from the mechanical fuel pump uses a 3/8" flare nut. Those are the only hoses I have left besides rad hoses, so thats all the help I can be.

Wow, just like the 80s all over again.

For the heater core connections, just slip the end of the hose over it and use one of those hose clamp covers that looks like a fake hose end. Ditto for the low pressure power steering hose. The high pressure steering hose uses saginaw fittings, so you'd need to find some kind of adapter. It might be the same size as the TPI fuel rails, if you're lucky.

There are no brake hoses under the hood.

Before you start on this, you might want to add up the price of all that hose and fittings. You won't like it at all.
