I am new here im stumpped really there is coolent leaking out under my driver side head it POURS out it even comes out with the car NOT running, when i have the car off i pour in water and then you hear it all come right back out. any ideas thanks.

 

Something is horribly wrong. Make sure you track back EXACTLY where it is coming from. If it is truly coming out between the head and block- she's toast. At least a head gasket, maybe more. This kind of gushing doesn't sound like a head gasket, though- they usually weep, seep and leak dribbles- not gush. I'm thinking more like something that screws into the water jacket unscrewed itself or snapped off, causing a MASSIVE leak.

 

could be a bad crack in the head or head gaket but like m390 said a head gasket doesnt normally gush

 

i found the problem there is a freeze pulg about 1 3/8 of a inch there to and the plug is gone lol but getting one back in is not going to be easy

 

new problem now i hear this is common tho but i have the pasenger side exhast gasget is leaking i hear it sounds like crap when you stomop on the gas , but im going to let the garage fix the plug so it will be out monday
