HELP Car wont start???

I just bought this 92 305 5-speed rs, I think I got screwed. Took it for its first drive, radiator started leaking. Just a few hours ago I got done relpacing the radiator, started it up, let it warm up, and took it for a drive. It made it about 2 miles before it quit completly. The tach stopped working early on, and then the engine died, and there is no response on the dash when you turn the key. No clicking fo the starter, or anything. The lights, and the hatch still work though?

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Possible causes, I disconected the air system. The engine was exteemly hot, but the gauge showed 140*, Also I had the A/C on when it quit.

I don't think the fans work? they never came on at all.

Still getting any kind of power? Battery dead? Maybe the alt crapped out and it was running on battery and shut down. Or common hot-shutdown cause is the ignition module, it overheats and stops working til it cools off.

Still no start even when it cooled down? Tried push-starting it?

there should be a fusible link up by the battery, check it.
