Well after installing my hooker 2055's I have burnt up 2 wires and was wondering what plug wires you guys recommend?

Do they have some that will fight right? The stock wires on two I had to flip them around because the 180 boots wouldn't work with the headers. I am guess I need all 90 degree boots.

Does going with a 8.8 or 8.5 mm wires help?

Should I just get rid or my bosch platinums and go with AC Delco or maybe NGK plugs?

About a 1.5 years ago I do cap rotor and wires and left my bosch platinum 4s in? Should I replace can and rotor? I went with the brass top cap and rotor. not accell or msd.

After putting Heddman's on I bought 8.5mm MSD all 90's and made them fit quite nicley under the headers and up the back.I prefer the hidden look.If you can affored probably best to get a new cap/rotar and plugs.Then you know it's all fresh.If your fairly stock the stock cap is plenty.

But I just blew all my money replacing my ignition lock cyclinder since it locked up. But know I am a professional at doing it I have do it 3 times today. LMAO everytime I get in a hurry I forget something so I had to take it apart and put it back in LOL. Man that sucked. But hey I kept vats working and have a new set of keys and stopped the whopple in my steering column so it was worth it.

 

If you're using stock cast iron heads then you can get a set of very affordable Autolite 24s in there- they're a fair bit shorter than stock, but not quite as short as a set of Accell shortys. They are otherwise exact replacements for stock and help header clearance quite a bit with some sets of headers. Projected nose, designed for a ~.045" gap, 1 heat range colder than most "stock" application plugs. Perfect for use on a mild performance motor with an HEI or other electronic ignition system.

Yes, you need all 90* boots. I've used junkyard wires back when I had no money. Swipe a bunch of decent looking ones with the required boot angles off junkyard cars for nothing and try them out. Sometimes they are trashed, sometimes they work just fine. V8, V6, 4 cylinder- makes no difference- if it's got an HEI distributor the wires will swap.

I figure you're out of this for about $15.

 

right how I had some old ones laying around from when I did it last time so I just put those in till next payday they seem to be working. yeah I will look into those autolites
