Connecting Rod Orientation?

Does anyone have the definitive answer on which way stock rods belong?
I think my machine shop might have pressed them on backwards. The stock rods have an offset to them at the crankpin end. I have all of the pistons and rods installed and when I look up at the bottom of the pistons, the rod is not centered. It looks like if I rotate them 180 degrees, they would be. But, that would make my pistons grooves facing theback of the engine?! I have built engines before and never ran into this. I just want to be on the safe side. My GM factory manuals do not mention anything about this.........

The bearing tangs in the rod should be facing "down" or away from the cam.

I just rechecked and took photos, everything looks good! I could send them to you for a second opinion. I'm glad I decided to quit while I was ahead. There is nothing wrong! I guess am just tired.
Thanks for the help.

Those look ok to me, as long as the machined faces on the big ends of the rods are facing each other as they're supposed to.
