Brake switch / cruise control?
I'm working on an 87Z. It has been converted to a 90 speed density system including swapping the dash and interior harness to a 90Z. The car is being assembled and I've stumbled onto this.. and need some advice.
Were there ever two seperate switches used at the brake pedal assembly to control the brake and cruise functions? It may seem like a crazy question but, the wiring harness connections and the black rubber hose near the brake pedal have me scratching my head... One style of brake switch will accept the rubber hose (to the cruise valve?) and one wiring connection, and another style of brake switch will accept another wired connector but neither switch will accept both...? Anyone care to take a guess or clue me in?
Thanks for helping!

yes. I have two switches. one for cruise, one for brakelight, cruise has the vacuum line AND the switch.
Find a yard and swap the mounts.

Thanks for the reply. Luckily, I had the parts. Just needed to know that others had this setup since I'm replacing missing parts and mending hacked wiring during my basket case rebuild.
