Fuel Tank Vent Valve

Im having a very hard time finding a fuel tank vent valve. Or maybe its called a fuel breather valve. I'm not sure and that may be the problem. On my fuel tank there are four lines coming out of the top of the tank. One of the lines ends with the vent valve being attached. I can't seem to find one anywhere. If anyone can find a part number or the exact name to look one up I would greatly appreciate it.

I found out that early Part# 10029752 was replaced by Part# 10033125
They are the exact same part just different colors.

#10029752 general motors part

I know this is an old post, but what does this part do...i.e. does it relieve pressure build up in the tank or vacuum?

Re: Fuel Tank Vent Valve

Its main purchase is to allow air into the tank as fuel in consumed. Secondary function is to allow excess pressure to be relieved from the tank. This can occur if something happens to the CCP system.

Dont take Drew the wrong way. He cant help himself most of the time. Poor soul, someday he will get a clue.

As far as I know the part is discontinued. Try the junkyard.

Re: Fuel Tank Vent Valve

Also check 4th gens, some (all?) of them also use the vent valve. The hose connection is slightly different but it works.
