From: Casselberry, FLA
Car: 88 V6 'bird/89TBI bird/85 T/A
Engine: 2.8/TBI/TPI
Transmission: V8 T-5/700R4 x2
Axle/Gears: 3.42 open/2.73 open/ 3.27 9 bolt
I have an old GM V6 racer's manual that sites no differences between 86-92 60 degree Chevy V6 engines if equipped with TBI or MPFI in Camaros, Firebirds and S-10/S-15 pickups.

Stay away from the carbureted cylinder heads and camshafts.

Hope this helps!

as long as u get heads from a 2.8/3.1/3.4 engine that is fuel injected they are all the same.
any heads from a non injected motor have smaller valves 85 and prior i believe
all the iron heads from 86-94or95 are the same no matter what engine they come from i.e 2.8/3.1/3.4 they all have the same casting number
