How's this theory on the rich/open loop/code 13 situation

Could a leaky (or bad spray pattern) injector(s) put enough unburnt fuel through the exhaust to screw up the o2, making the o2 cause the system to stay in open loop, causing it run all that much richer?

The car runs rich and doesn't seem to go into closed loop. 20mins last night on a scanner and it said 'loop open' the whole time. The o2 stayed around .4 volts.

Today I hooked a multimeter directly to the o2 and got the same thing. .399 - .408. Not .15-.85. This was while the car was warm and had been driven. I jumped A&B and got nothing but fast SES flashing. (open loop)

Also was getting code 13 until I had the battery disconnected early yesterday. I'm sure I'll get it again.

(replaced o2 couple weeks ago and didn't get codes for a week, now they're back)

I'm also losing fuel pressure, and the only place left I haven't eliminated is the injectors.

All cylinders are firing.
Tps tested good.
Maf looks fine (worked fine too until just after new engine)
pinched off both fuel lines and pulled cold-start injector to watch for leaks/ nothing. still lost pressure.

No leaks anywhere in rest of fuel system.

Seems to be even more gutless and using even more fuel.

Sounds like a leaky injector to me.

Do a resistance check of all your injectors. Look for 17ohms or greater

Also you NEED to do a leak down check of your injectors. Get a fuel pressure gauge from autozone screw it on the fuel rail... and check the psi. It should hold PSI for at least an hour and half.

Already have a gauge. 40 down to 35 right when pump stops. 35 down to 25 in about 10 seconds. 25 down to 10 in about 20-30 seconds. 5 to 0 after about a minute.

The only place left I haven't seen fuel leaking is the injectors. Everything else is good. I might try the resistance test. I order a set through summit though. When they get here I'm putting them in and changing o2's also.

You failed the leak down check. You have one or more bad injectors. Or the O rings need to be replaced.
