how can i make a stock 305 put out more?
i have a 89 camaro rs with a 305 in it. i out ran a 99 pontiac grand am gt tonight and the guy was saying it was bad that his v6 could keep up with my v8 in fact he was at my rear bumper most of the time. my car had set up while i was in iraq for a year and i know a 305 kinda sucks. what can get to help it put out for the time being? before i left i gotten rid of my converter and open my pipes up to 3 inches, thats all i done so far so can someone please help?

Also pay attention especially to the TBI board. Dewey316 had a good combo with stock heads that ran into the mid 14s. I have built a few 305s and a few 350 combos myself.
