oil filter

have an 1990 L98 with a lil oil leak.its coming from the left side of the motor.new oil sending unit, yes its tight.but my question is, where teh oil filter screws in, i heard that there is some type of gasket inside of teh unit that the filter screws into.if this is true anyone got a part number or any hints as to how to take this apart.i havent tried to take it apart yet (i dont even know if does come apart) but if it does any info would be great.thanks guy

If you have no oil cooler then the only gasket is on your filter.. If you have an oil cooler you have a gasket I believe between the oil cooler and the block.
