ok so now i got me a cam

alrite i bought a cam for the 305 and i was wonderin if i need to do headwork to my head b4 i can install the cam or not. heres the link to the cam. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku and here is my heads casting number 14014416

Im running a set of 416s myself with a comp XE268 .477/.488 lift (@ valve) without having to cut the valve guides.

I would highly suggest ditching the stock springs for some matched to the cam though.

Also due to casting variances you should double check every valve for clearance once its all together. Even on the same head some can have tons of room and others will be tight! Who knows, even with your lift you might have a couple valves hitting the guides...
