Get AC Delco Coppers and enjoy long reliable plugs for a great price. The others are a waste and platinums get fouled easily.

and there is absolutely no reason to run a iridium plug especially at 12.99 a pop

These are my preferences:
Champion is AC (Albert Champion) which GM combined with United Delco to form AC-Delco.
NGK is manufactured in the US and also a GM OEM supplier.
Quality and price.

Whenever I hear Autolite I think of Fram, Ford, Pisstone, and lawn mowers.

i just bought the autoligt iridium and they were 12.99 they were 4.99 but it is still expensive for plugs. they are however said to last for 100k miles so you really wont pay as much in the long run. Ill get back to you on how they work i still have to gap three of them and when i install them ill let you know if there is a difference.

Oh yeah they are a pain in the *** to gap. they come gapped at about .052 and all of our engines should be at .045 so when you finally get the gap to start shrinking watch out. they tend to shrink way to far and they took a while to open the gap again. it was taking about 5-7 minutes per plug to gap but maybe it was just because i was being extremely cautious not to break the fine wire.

You do not gap precious metal plugs like irridium or platinum ever.

wow i wish i would have known that before i wasted fifteen bucks. i even asked the guy that worked at aid auto and he told me the might be pregapped but i should check, so i assumed they needed to be gapped.

Will they work if i put the gap back to .052? because i havent installed them yet.

anyone ever try the Accel U-groove plugs? I just picked up two sets at a swap meet for $5, guess if they turn out to be junk it wont be a complete loss. I bought them mainly for the extra space in between the boot and header pipes...

I doubt you can use them. Chances are you boogered up the electrode. Putting them in at this point would be a waste of time. Once you find out that your car runs like crap you have to take everything out again.
