I think they're pretty similar to the 083 heads. Nothing too special or high perf out of the box.

Consider these heads to fall into the S/R (stock replacement) category. Probably good casting and machineing quality. Don't expect a huge power gain over a Stock GM head, as the ports are the same size. Can be a good buy if you're just looking for a no hassle economical, replacement head. If youre looking for a powerfull high performacne head these are not them.
Never tried them.

Junk. Lots of core shift. Had a customer carry a set in the door and the seats were all over the place.

really.... any experience with the other Summit house brand heads?

Haven't tried these. But am curious. Junk is not worth it at any price. thanks for the "heads" up...

I haven't seen any of the other heads in person. The aluminum heads are supposedly cast at Pro Toplines former facility but I don't know of any truth to that. Same thing was true for a company called PBM that sells heads under their name and they turned out to be not so good.

Summit branded parts are iffy at best. Some stuff I don't mind using like carb spacers, block off plates and such but I am weary of anything that has moving parts. Some of their stuff is name brand parts with their name slapped on it. But others are cheapo chinese crapola.
