car no stardy
i have 88 gta and it wont start, its a ignition problem because i toke a spark plug out and it was wet with fuel, so i changed the ignition module and nothing now im thinking its the coil what do you think

well i believe you have 2 coils the pickup coil and the ignition coil...
when was the last time you did a tune up?
i mean plugs cap rotor that sorta stuff...
now by it wont start do you mean at all or for a couple of seconds or wont turn over?
what engine what mods what did you break in the past few days

change the plugs and wires, just pick up cheepies, should be able to get them for under 30$, then start testing and changing more expensive stuff. So many times i have found on old cars it is deteratied contacts on the plug wires.

i changed the ignition module and nothing, then i checked if spark was comming out of the coil and no spark so i got a coil today and they gave me the wrong one so ill have to go back tomorrow

i was testing the power going into the coil and the constant power has 12v and the signal wires dont read nothing so what could it be my ditributer, magneto, or the ECM. need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
