fuel pressure
i have had a 'problem' with my fuel pressure since i got my car, and have not been able to figure out what is causing it......
problem: i cannot get my fuel pressure to go past 40psi no matter what
solutions: i've changed the pump 2 times, i've changed the filter 2 times, i've changed the FUEL TANK i've checked the lines, i've changed the fuel pressure regulator 3 times, with 3 different regulators.
now i'm using the holley pump and the holley fpr, both from summit. they work fine but no matter how much i unscrew that screw, it wont go past 40..... there is nothing wrong with my guage, i've tried 3 different guages over the years.
the only thing i've come to is that its the lines, the car has over 260,000 miles on it, and i think maybe they are gunked up somewhere..... any suggestions on where to get new lines? what to get? could that definitely not be my problem???
sorry this is so long but this problem has been killing me since i bought the car for 900 dollars haha.... anyway thanks everyone.

Are you pulling the vacum line off the regulator when your trying to modify the fuel pressure?

Even with the vacuum connected it still should have shown an increase in pressure when the dial is screwed in.

If removing that vacum line doesn't do anything, you might want to try a different gauge if you haven't.
