If you have one for a 86/87 TPI that would be great. It's an 86 car but with an 87 engine, 5.7L V8 TPI

Thanks,

Re: New Vacuum Diagram

I'm working on what I believe is an '88 5.7 TPI setup. I only see 2 vacuum ports on the throttle body. the small one on the bottom and one large on e on the side that goes to the passenger side valve cover. any one have a pic of where the other line connects that is shown?

Re: New Vacuum Diagram

if your talking about the HVAC And CC hoses they may have a T and share the same source like my car does.

If people that have these motors that are hooked up correctly will let me know i will add that info. Kinda hard to be shure when i dont have one of each of these motors myself LOL.

Here's one for some year of L69; I forget which one. Not that it matters since they're all the same AFAIK. And, the LG4s are all just like this too, except for teh air cleaner details.

They aren't all quite the same. This one doens't have the lines that go to the throttle servo and down to the ball looking thing that's stashed on the bottom of my driver-side fender. At least not that I can tell.

Re: New Vacuum Diagram

No; those are accessories, parts of whole other systems (A/C & cruise), not part of the engine. That's a copy of the emissions label, which is independent of what options the car was equipped with.

They get fed from a fitting on the top of the intake behind the carb.

Ahh...now I see the difference. I was trying to makes sense of it and I'm like "That doesn't have this...or that, etc..." I wish they had one that outlined all the accessories. That would help me find the vacuum leaks that pop up much easier.

What do you need for an 84 Carb? I've got a 84 T/A that's carbed. Let me know what your looking for and I'll try and help. Sorry, I don't have an accurate diagram for the accessories, just going off memory. The Camaro and T/A set up should be almost identical.

That's going to depend on the line you need. There should be about 4 different sizes depending on the accessory or engine part that it's going to.

Re: New Vacuum Diagram

Same as any other L03....

The cruise and AC are part of the car, not the engine. Kind of like, your house builder might have given you a wiring diagram of your house; you won't however, find the schematic of the toaster in your kitchen, on the schematic the builder gave you. The toaster is a separate system from the house, even though it gets its power from the house wiring. Engine vacuum diagrams are usually like that: they tell you about the ENGINE, but then, you need a SEPARATE diagram for any accessory sub-systems that happen to hook up to the engine and use vacuum as one of their power sources.

Hi, this is great.

I am currently putting my 91 L98 t/a back together, and cant figure out what connecter? plugs into the back of the egr solenoid. it looks like a vacuum line would connect to it.

Re: New Vacuum Diagram

It would be nice if the diagrams included the alpha codes, like this 1984 carbed 305:

So that owners could positively identify their diagrams.

This is another diagram for a 1984 carbed 305, but there are significant differences:
