Does any one know if all Brodix heads have the Brodix name stamped on them or at least Bro, i just bought a pair of supposedly "Brodix Track 1's" and can't find any brand name on them.... Found some numbers and tryed to google them to see if a part # came up or something lol, well if any one has any info or pics of what i should be seeing i would greatly appreciate it if you would let me know. Sorry if this thread shouldn't be here, not sure where to put it really....

A little late for research now, eh?
Try www.brodix.com for some info. Maybe post some pics, maybe the numbers you found, maybe somebody can tell what they REALLY are.

Re: Brodix Track 1 Question
Actually I just called them, and they say when they do work on heads that they stamp their logo into them, but still I don't think they are brodix heads....

Re: Brodix Track 1 Question
like i said, i would get the heads flowbenched.. just to know what kind of performance to expect.. shouldnt cost you too much(i think).. no one on maui has one so i have no idea..
those look like solid roller springs.. you know anything about that?? hows the seat pressures?? obviously DO NOT attempt to run a flat tappet cam with roller springs.. but sadly i did.. but didnt realize i had almost a 100lbs too much seat pressure till i took down 7 lobes on my cam and was running off barely 7 cylinders and couldnt make jack doodoo for power past 4k rpm.. still could run 14's and do a really healthy chirp in third for some odd reason..
ok i'll shutup now

Re: Brodix Track 1 Question
Another thing to note, is that those heads won't install in one of these cars; no bolt holes for the accessories. Doesn't look like there's enough metal behind where they go, to drill & tap them, either. In some of the places, maybe; but not all.
Flow numbers don't matter a whole lot when they go with something you can't use anyway.
Looks to me in general like you got boinked HARD on this deal. It's not so much that the seller "ripped you off", as that you didn't know what you were doing before you did it.
I'd suggest trying to get your money back, and keep looking. Maybe come here and ask about heads you see or hear about BEFORE you lay out your long green.
Those don't look like Brodix heads to me. Certainly not like Track 1s.

Re: Brodix Track 1 Question
Yeah, im in the process of getting my money back... hopefully never had to file a claim through paypal so don't know how thats gonna go, but when I originally thought the heads were Track 1's I was just gonna buy the brackets you can get for your alternator and powersteering pump that attach at different places besides the heads, but that is irrelevant now.
Anyhow thanks for all the responses,

Re: Brodix Track 1 Question
Well if you'r elucky, you can work directly with the seller and not have to get Paypal involved; it would be better that way for everybody.
If this seller is a shop or something, do they have other heads available? Could you trade them or something?

Re: Brodix Track 1 Question
I bought them off some guy, I have been doing a bit of research, called Brodix they said they havn't even started the casting letter J yet so they are definatly not Brodix heads. The guy I bought them off of got them off a guy from e-bay so he said he is going to do the same thing im doing....
