OIl pan

Transmission: t5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 with auburn and 28 spline axle
OIl pan

I'm going to be putting in a 35o into my z28 and the block has the dipstick ont he drivers side not apssenger as my LG4 has I know i need a new dipstick and ube but what pan should i get to clear the k-member? Can i just use a regular pan from a 79 back 350 or does it have to be specific to the camaro to fit? Thanks!

A pan from a Camaro, Monte Carlo, or Malibu will fit.

One from a truck or a full-size car may not.

are you kidding, ive got a 97 vortec block with the pan off the same motor, am i screwed? to me it looks exactly the same as any SBC pan

You're probably ok, older truck pans might not clear.

I don't know if the finned pans would clear. The plain chrome pan would probably work, but I'm not a fan of chrome.
