problem fixed!!
the strange "electrical" problem i was having with my 305 TBI turned out to be that someone had advanced the timming 26* past where it should have been. i couldnt understand why my car was acting up. i finally took it to the local garage. i have no idea why somebody would screw the timming up that badly. bill was 140 bucks pluss tax. i do not own i timming light and i did not know that timming could cause a random problem. i thought it would act up all of the time. now i think im going to invest in a timming light. anyways i dont care the it cost 140 bucks to figure it out. car runs great so im thrilled. how much does a timming light cost.

I got mine off summit for like $60, I know you can get them for cheaper though, I just didn't want a real cheap brand.
