Car: 1983 z28

Engine: '73 4-bolt 350

Transmission: t5

Axle/Gears: 3.42 with auburn and 28 spline axle

83-88 alternator

I'm doing a 305-350 and v-belt to serpentine swap and would like to know if the connectors to the alternator are different between my 83 z28 and the 88 iroc i got the swap kit from in other words do i have to rewire it completely or just lengthen it since the alt and comp swap sides from v-belt to serp.?
