alright guys i need some input on this ive searched threw a few threads and there are similarities but nothing in the end......i have an 89 iroc 350 and since ive had it it has a problem starting after sitting for a while it also has problems starting right after i cut it off a majority of the time it will start after sitting for a while but its starting to become more frequent with the sitting and not starting bit the only way i can get it started is starter fluid 2 hits of that and she fires right up is there any answers to this mystery?

 

Is the car pretty much stock or has it been modded? I keep thinging its gotta be in the fuel system. Pump maybe? How many miles?

 

What does it do instead of starting?

2 choices here: does it spin great, but just crank and crank and crank and never hit; or does it crank over REAL slow, and kind of sound like ruhhhh...... ruuhhh....... instead of spinning?

 

jaredi i am modded i have 3 " flowmaster no cats, edelbrock headers, 373's stg 2 chip (came with car not sure the brand), udp's, and coolant bypass.ohh and the car has 98k original.and as far as the pump there isnt any odd noises when i click over the key. and also when the car is started and running there isnt any stumbles or flattening out either
and sofakingdom it just keeps cranking its a smoothe crank just wont kick over oh btw thanks guys for a speedy response

Check your injectors, use an ohm meter and the injectors should test between 14-16 ohms if there lower then 13 there bad... my car is kinda doing the same thing (90 GTA 350 TPI) and 3 of my injectors are bad which is turning the injector motor in the computer off.
