Will Exhaust Return tube coming up from Cat melt Plug Wires?
Hey guys,
I just got finished re-routing my plug wires using a wire loom and the way they wrap around the back passenger-side corner of the block they touch the exhaust return tube from the catalytic converter. You know, the one for the A.I.R. system. I've tried to fix it so they don't touch but I can't do it, the wires aren't long enough to route any other way. Do you guys know if they will melt from touching this tube or not? Thanks..

That AIR tube going from the air pump to the cat is pumping cold air TO the cat, not hot exhaust from the cat. You'll be fine.
