Height of a Short Block
I have a 357 Short Block on order and I was wondering if anyone could give me the rough height of a shortblock. They ship it out on a pallet that is 48x40x20, and I want to make sure that it will fit in my suv when I go to pick it up from the terminal.

Re: Height of a Short Block
Actually now that I am messing around with my tape measure, I think that the 20" dimension includes the height of the block too because I can't imagine a pallet alone being 20" tall, and that would roughly make sense seeing as the block cant be much more than 15" if that, and the kind of pallet I am thinking of is only like 5" tall anyhow. I may have answered my own question here.

if they are telling you that the pallet is 48x40x20, i think its safe to assume that the "crate" you are picking up is 48x40x20.
