Wrong Intake gasket Kit

What are the possible consequences of using the intake manifold gasket kit from a 1991 olds cutlass in a 1996 olds cutlass? The 1991 is a 3.4 liter and the 1996 is a 3.1 liter, I didn't do it, I just got figure out all the possibly screwed up parts from it and try to fix it.
