Oil Temp, Trans Temp Gauge INSTALL?

How do i do it? The wiring of the gauges is cool. But where do i put the senders? I did a search but i had a real hard time, finding anything helpful.

Basically, do i need to go to the bulk of the oil supply? ie: at the pans? Or can i place the sender into a line? ie: same place i measure my oil pressure for oil, and in the trans cooler lines for the trans?

If someone has done this install before, and can get me some pix and/or instructions for where to place the sender that would be great!

I have a 1975 350 carbed with a 700R4 trans. Thanks.

Anywhere you want, really. The actual temperature isn't as important as being able to see if changes abnormally.
