Engine shutting off when closing the hood...
I'm guessing my clearance for the carb is just too tight? I can run the car all day long now (fixed fuel pump circuit), but as soon as I shut the hood it starts to die. I tried it with the air cleaner off and on, seems to die faster without it.
My other thought was a wire short, but I have no wires close to touching anything on the hood. I know the bulb was yanked out on the hood light, blowing fuses I assume.
I just want to know for sure before I go out and buy me a cowl hood.
