Weird idle please help!!

i have an 85 camaro z28 tpi and it idles kinda funky on cold start it will idle really low usually around 500 rpm and doesnt idle any higher u give it gas and try to warm it up but it tries to stall out once you get it on the road for a bit and then park it it idles around 700rpm but im finding it a huge problem to keep running my car like this any ideas wat it could be? and wat should my car be idling at? PLEASE HELP

Hmm, sounds like it could be your IAC motor has gone bad.

its been in the shop numerous times and nothing comes up on the computer everything checked out but im not sure wat it could be.. vacumn hoses are a little on the soft side i dunno if that could be a problem or not and when u take it for a drive it has lots of ***** so i dont think the engine could be bad..
